Evelyn Nell Sims, age 90, of Drakes Branch, VA, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2019. Evelyn is survived by three children, Evelyn Ann Fallen, Jerry Lee Sims, and Morris Winston Sims, Jr.; five grandchildren, Tina Saunders, Freddie Lee, Jerry Sims, Jr., Chrissy Renee Sims, and Travis Gammon; four great-grandchildren, Justin Saunders, Jessica Saunders, Madalyn Saunders, and Katrina Saunders; and numerous nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, January 18, 2020, at the Keysville Evangelical Methodist Church. The Reverend Donald Floyd will be officiating. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is serving the family.
