James Reginald “PeeWee” Newcomb, age 79, of Keysville, VA passed away Thursday, June 27, 2019. He was preceded in death by his parents, Thea Ardis Newcomb and Lockie Townsend Newcomb. Surviving are three sisters, Betty N. McKinney, Linda Marie Newcomb, and Brenda Kay Lewis (Robert); and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held at 3 p.m. Sunday, June 30, 2019 at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home, with interment to follow at the Cool Springs Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Michael J. Fox Foundation. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of the arrangements.
