Joseph “Joey “George Blaszkiewicz, (39) of Keysville, VA, passed suddenly from this life into heaven on September 13, 2019. Joey was born on August 26, 1980, in Patchogue, NY, and grew up in Shirley, NY. Joey was an amazing man that never knew a stranger and never hesitated to help someone in need. He was an avid fisherman who found the most peace out on the water. The love he had for his family and friends was unmeasurable. He is survived by his wife, Samantha Blaszkiewicz; his son, Joseph Blaszkiewicz; and his newborn baby daughter, Londyn; his mother, Theresa Parker; father, Sylvester Blaszkiewicz (Brenda); fathers-in-law, Rodney Clevinger (Cindy); and Randy Waterman (Donna); brothers, Chris (Suzi), Keith, Alan (Julie), Neal, and Greym; sisters, Maria, Desiree, and Shannon; brothers-in-law, Cody, Rodney (Michelle), Jacob; sister-in-law, Brittany (John); and twenty-one nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his step-father, Bob Parker and brother, Brian.

A memorial service to celebrate Joey’s life will be held on September 28th at Buggs Island, a place that Joey loved to fish every chance he could. A special fund account has been set up at Benchmark Community Bank to help assist his wife and newborn baby daughter after his sudden and unexpected passing, donations to that account are much appreciated

Your passing was such a Shock to us all. You were taken too early. We were planning to visit after your beautiful baby girl was born, to share that special time in life. We were so proud of you, and all you have overcome. You have stuck by us all through thick & thin. We loved seeing your fishing quests! Your Beautiful wife & children. We know Grandma & Grandpa & Uncle Eddie & Bob have opened their arms to you. We hope you find peace. Our prayers & hugs to our family down south. Go catch the biggest fish Joe! We Will see you again. ♥️ Aunt Ev & Uncle John.
