My sincere condolences to all of Mrs. Graves’ family. She was a true southern lady that I am very happy to have known. I knew her only for a short time, but the times we shared together will never be forgotten. She will truly be missed by all of us who had the pleasure of knowing her. May she have eternal peace in the shade of the trees across the river with our Lord.

It is with much sadness that I read of the passing of such a fine lady as Pat and my thoughts and prayers go out to Ron, Hope and the entire family. She was always so warm and inviting, always had a smile and a kind word for everyone. Her family and her many friends will find it difficult in the coming days to cope with such a loss but we must all remember there was a Heavenly home awaiting her sweet soul.

My thoughts and prayers are with Ron and the family. Patt will be greatly missed, but I can’t help but believe she is having a glorious time now with Our Lord, and visiting with the Founding Fathers and Generals Lee and Jackson. May she rest in peace in the shade of the trees.

Patt, Ron and Hope have been the dearest of friends since 1979. We traveled together, dined together, went to Redskin games together and shared pretty much everything. As country neighbors we were always there for each other. Ron, God smiled when you married your best friend and, Hope, no child has ever been more loved. She left us all better for having known and loved her.

Such nice comments on her picture that I posted on Facebook after attending the Fifth District Conference comments said about what a sweet lady she was. My comment said that she was a fine lady and passed away on April 7 and that she will be missed by all of us at United Daughters of the Confederacy. Sorry for your loss Ron and family. I showed her picture to my Pastor on Sunday. He texted her name into his phone so he could pray for your family also and told me that he had seen Patt somewhere.
