Albert Lloyd Longerbeam

Albert Lloyd Longerbeam, 51, passed away Sunday morning, August 4, 2013, at Wayland Nursing Home in Keysville. Albert was born in Arlington Hospital, raised in Falls Church, VA, and moved to Bluemont, VA, and graduated from Clarke County High School in 1980. A year later he enlisted in the Air Force and proudly served for 11 years. When he returned to civilian life he worked as a mechanic. Albert was preceded in death by his father, Lawrence C. Longerbeam;, his mother, Doris Longerbeam, and niece, Jeannette Geiger. Albert is survived by his sisters and their spouses: Janet and Greg Howard, Cindy and Warren Kreykenbohm, Susan and Paul Carter; his brothers: Lawrence C. Longerbeam, Jr., and Gary A. Longerbeam. Albert left nine nieces and nephews: Greg, Carrie, and Christine Howard, Elizabeth Geiger, Rebecca and Rick Segal, Warren C. Kreykenbohm III, Adam C. Carter, and Jordan Segal. A private funeral service will be held at Ebenezer Cemetery in Clarke County. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
