Alfonso Louis Troianello Jr.

Alfonso L. Troianello, Jr., born April 16, 1935, Husband, Father, and Grandfather, passed from this life on January 1, 2011, at the age of 75. He is survived by his loving wife, of 37 years, Ellen H. Troianello, daughter, Rosemarie Hiley her husband, Richard, son, Alfonso Troianello III and his wife, Kathleen, and daughter, Laurie Garno and her husband, Paul. Mr. Troianello will be missed by his six grandchildren, Ethan and Alexandra Hiley, Kelly and Kristin Troianello, Paul and Nicolas Garno. Mr. Troianello was one of eleven children born to Alfonso and Antoinett Troianello and survived by brothers, John, Anthony, Robert, Louis; and sisters, Josephine Lajeunesse, Rose Lemmerman and Anna Troianello. Mr. Troianello was born and raised in Madison, NJ, where he started his professional career at A. Troianello Florists. Much of his adult life was spent in Long Valley, NJ, raising his family; and as President of Long Valley Realty Co. Mr. Troianello was active in the local community as a longtime member of the Long Valley Volunteer Fire Dept., Founder of the Long Valley First Aid Squad, while serving on numerous boards and committees as well as civic activities including, Morris County, NJ, Hunter Safety Instructor, Honorary Member of the Morris County Police Chiefs Association, and The Hackettsown Hospital Foundation. Mr. Troianello enjoyed his retirement years among family and new friends in Keysville, VA. His love, friendship, and counsel will be missed by all.
