Brenda Ann Newcomb Dunaway

Brenda Ann Newcomb Dunaway, age 67, of Drakes Branch, VA passed away Saturday, September 5, 2015. She is survived by her husband, Mack Dunaway of Drakes Branch, VA; her mother, Florence Newcomb of Drakes Branch, VA; her brother, Jason Newcomb Wendy of Drakes Branch, VA; five step-children, Paula Lacks of Drakes Branch, VA, Tammy Newby of Dinwiddie, VA, Chris Dunaway Wanda of Drakes Branch, VA, Susan Guill Eddie of Keysville, VA, Katey Hughes of Keysville, VA; two nephews; thirteen grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Brenda was preceded in death by her father, John “Poker” Newcomb; and two brothers, Danny Newcomb and Ray Newcomb.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, September 9, 2015 in the Friendship Baptist Church, Drakes Branch, VA, with interment to follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
