Carrie Lewis Baker Newcomb, 76, of Keysville, VA, departed her Earthly Home for a Heavenly Home on Monday, April 22, 2013. She was preceded in death by her father, Morgan Edison Baker and her mother, Melissa “Bill” Wilkins Baker.
She is survived by her husband of 56 years, Clarence Thomas Newcomb; two daughters, Rhita N. Dudley and husband Aaron of High Point, NC, Lisa Newcomb Chandler of Mechanicsville, VA; and one grandson, David A. Dudley, Jr., and wife Kristy of Winston-Salem, NC; and a host of many special friends.
A Graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Friday, April 26, at New Hope United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends, Thursday, April 25, 2013, from 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home.
