Elizabeth “Betty Boop” Scales Clay Shepheard Jeminez

ELIZABETH “Betty Boop” SCALES CLAY SHEPHEARD JEMINEZ, 80, of Charlotte Court House, VA went to be with her Lord on Sunday June 12th 2016 while playing her favorite song at Buffalo Presbyterian Church. She was the loving wife of Genaro Flores Jeminez. She was preceded in death by her late husband, Wilford Merle Shepheard, father, Harry L. Clay senior and Mother Elizabeth B. “Snooks” Clay, mother-in-law Maria Flores JEMINEZ of San Luiz de la Paz GTO Mexico and Mary S. Clay. She left behind the cherish her memory her loving husband, Genaro Jeminez , daughter Cheryl Byers Randy of Big Island, Kimberly Longo Tom of Claremont, NC, son Gordon Shepheard Annette of Charlotte Court House and daughter Florence Bumgarner Darrell of Claremont, NC, 11 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren all of whom she cherished. Also left behind are her brother Harry L. Clay Jr of Dinwiddie and two sisters, Nancy Clay Cook Phil of Burkeville and Mary Catherine Wright Kenneth of Charlotte Court House. And numerous members of her late husband Wilford Merle Shepheard’s family.
Services are to be held at Phenix Presbyterian Church, 200 Church Street, Phenix Virginia on Thursday June 16th. Viewing will be from noon until 2:00 p.m. with Services immediately following. Interment will be at Evergreen Cemetery in Charlotte Court House followed by a reception at the Phenix Presbyterian Church. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is serving the family
