Hugh Maynard Wilson

Hugh Maynard Wilson, age 77, of Chase city, VA, passed away on Wednesday, July 31, 2013. He was the widower of Betty Moore Wilson. Maynard was the son of the late William and Effie Wilson. He is survived by two daughters, Linda Lawson and husband, Donald, Annette Simpson; a son, David Wilson; six grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Daniel Wilson and Thelma, Bernard Wilson and Polly; and one sister, Frances Royster and C. W.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, August 3, 2013 in the Easters United Methodist Church, Boydton, VA, with interment to follow in the Rutledge Family Cemetery, Saxe, VA. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Easters United Methodist Church, Boydton, VA.
