Katherine Dee Biddle

Katherine Dee Biddle, age 51, died suddenly at her home in Phenix, VA, on Sunday, June 23, 2013. She was a graduate of First Colonial High in Virginia Beach, VA. Over the years she has worked for the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office, Longwood College, Charlotte County School System, and Robbie’s Service Center. She is survived by her fiancé and companion of 26 years, Ronnie DeMuth of Phenix, VA; her mother, Patricia Swingle of Drakes Branch, VA; her brother, David Swingle of Charlotte C. H., VA; her daughter, Amanda DeMatteo Justin of Saxe, VA; her son, Jeremy Biddle of Charlottesville, VA; her grandchildren, Lucas and Jackson DeMatteo, and Alexander Biddle; and many nieces and nephews.
Kathy was an amazing woman, loved by everyone. She will be greatly missed.
A funeral service will be held at 2p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013, in the Phenix Methodist Church Phenix, VA, with interment to follow in Rough Creek Presbyterian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, on Friday, June 28, 2013, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Phenix Volunteer Fire Department or the Barksdale Cancer Foundation. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA, is in charge of arrangements.
