Robert Lee Hudson Sr., age 63, of Drakes Branch, VA passed away on Tuesday, November 2, 2010. He is survived by his wife, Nancy Lee Hudson; two sons, Robert L. “Robbie” Hudson Jr. Kimberley, Russell E.”Boone” Hudson Ashley; five grandchildren, Krystal Tucker, Alyssa Hudson, Chad Hudson, Colton Hudson, Halle Jackson; two sisters, Doris Waddell, Nancy Adams; one brother, Larry Hudson all of Drakes Branch, VA. He was preceded in death by one brother, Charles E. Hudson; and one sister, Linda H. Hall.
A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, November 5, 2010, at the Browning-Duffer Funeral Home with interment in Lebanon United Methodist Church Cemetery Drakes Branch, VA. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, November 4, 2010, from 7 to 8:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Barksdale Foundation, the Charlotte County Volunteer Rescue Squad, or the charity of your choice. The Browning-Duffer Funeral Home in Keysville, VA is in charge of arrangements.
